The DCU could communicate with energy meter and water meter within 1km, admin monitor them by AMI system. For easier top up process, engineers could customize an API for clients to integrate with local mobile payment, like M-PESA,MTN and Airtel,etc. After connecting successful, users could use their mobile phone to recharge the water or energy, then the recharge token will be sent to water meter or energy meter automatically. This solution not only help utilities save the labor cost, but also the users can top up water and energy without leaving their house.
